The show is a live performance of about twenty songs that describe the very successful partnership between two of the greatest and most loved Italian music artists: Lucio Battisti and Mogol.
The voice of Lucio is Gianmarco Carroccia. ” Gianmarco is a former student of Cet, the school I founded and I manage” says Mogol. “One day he invited me to one of his live shows. I had no idea who he was, more than three thousand students have passed from the CET, I don’t know them all. When I met him, I found myself in front of the image of Lucio Battisti. A double. And he sings with the same sensitivity ”.

The story tells about the men and women we met in our lives and who disappeared in 2020: Ennio Morricone, Maradona, Paolo Rossi, Franca Valeri, Gigi Proietti.
The work tells the beginning of the pandemic through the eyes of the artist starting from the loneliness and sadness derived from the first lockdown for the dramatic events that were happening, especially with regard to the elderly.
The title is inspired by the speech given in February 2020 by Joaquin Phoenix during the award ceremony of the Oscars for the interpretation of Joker and takes up a phrase of the actor’s brother “Run to the rescue with love, peace will follow”.

The universal language of music and art in support of the peace processes between different peoples, cultures and faiths.
The event is organised by Aldebaran Association, Taormina Arte Sicilia Foundation, National Association of Civil War Victims and Almoetia Musical Association and realised in collaboration with the Archaeological Park of Naxos Taormina and the Municipality of Giardini Naxos.
The project received the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem, the Sicilian Region, the ARS (Sicilian Regional Assembly), the Magnificat Institute, the Custodian Terrae Sanctae and the municipalities of Noto and Taormina.
