Clint Eastwood’s Broadway adaptation “Jersey Boys”. His version of the long-running musical stars John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen and Christopher Walken.
Based on the Tony Award-winning musical of the same name, the film tells the story of four young men from New York who came together to form the iconic Sixties group The Four Seasons.
The trailer charts the rise of the renowned boy band before changing tone halfway through to reveal the group’s seedy past.
The film features a number of their popular songs, including “Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Walk Like a Man” and “Bye Bye Baby”.

Taormina Film Fest, a historic film festival, and Italy’s oldest, began in 1955. It is a competitive event screening film previews, independent features, documentaries, shorts and tributes to filmmakers of the past.
Some of the festival’s most exciting moments occur during Taormina’s renowned Master Classes. Held everyday at Palazzo dei Congressi of Taormina, elite actors and directors in the world of cinema share their experience and expertise with the audience of festival attendees and journalists. The racing starts from Palermo on June 4th 2014 and will end on June 8th.
The second leg will end in TAORMINA on Friday 6. Cars will stop in the Piazza Duomo square from 5.00pm on.

“Giro di Sicilia” was organized by V.zo Florio in 1912 as 7th Targa Florio which was held on the Madonie Great Circuit. In the last century eighteen editions have been held. The rally is still rememberd as one of Italy and both World’s most important races on the road.
The Route, choosen among the winding and impervious roads of the Island, sometimes including also the Madonie little circuit, never exceeded a total lenght of 1080km ( about 671 miles).
The event reached its maximum popolarity after 1948, when in its “Gold Book” entered the most important racers’ name such as Biondetti, Marzotto, Villoresi, Taruffi, Collins, Gendebien.
De Portago’s tragic accident during “Mille Miglia” in 1957, led as consequences the soppression of Giro di Sicilia together with the other races on the road.
In 1979 Veteran Car Club Panormus, created the first great event named “la Sicilia dei Florio” destined to appeal the lovers both with an agreement more and more increasing. In 1989 it was joined with Gioro di Sicilia – Targa Florio, in a unique great event.

New edition of the Rally Event Taormina organised by New Turbomark. This year the rally starts from the promenade of the nearby town of Letojanni and the arrive is expected, in the same town, after some 140 miles of hard and selective routes, at around 6.00pm.
A run through the picturesque Sicilian countryside that will reach many villages and towns of the nearby Ionian area: Limina, Santa Teresa di Riva, Savoca, Alì Terme, Alì, Casalvecchio Siculo and others.
Registrations will open on April 30th and will close on May 26th.
Parade laps on Saturday 24 and Friday 30 from noon to midnight.
Race on May 31 and June 1.

Gianni Morandi (1944) is an Italian pop singer, actor and entertainer and he will perform in Taormina with an orchestra of 15 elements.
He made his debut in 1962, in 1970 he represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Occhi di ragazza”. He won the Festival of Sanremo in 1987 with “Si può dare di più” together with Enrico Ruggeri and Umberto Tozzi, placed second in 1995 and third in 2000. It is estimated that Morandi has sold 50 million recordings. His songs “In ginocchio da te”, “Non son degno di te” and “Scende la pioggia” were certified as having each sold over one million copies, and were awarded gold discs.He has written a number of autobiographical books and appeared in 18 films. He also played as actor in several TV series. In 2011 Morandi presented the Sanremo Music Festival 2011
