The Nations Award kicks off on 7 July, now in its 17th edition, which will take place from 7 to 9 July in Taormina and which, thanks to EvenTao, returns to reward the great faces of cinema, including Woody Allen in the past , Gerard Depardieu, Abel Ferrara, Jean Sorel, Nicola Piovani, Ferzan Ozpetek, Ronaldinho and many others.
The Nations Award, under the high patronage of the European Parliament and the Sicilian Region, as well as being an event created to reward Italian and international cinema, has always been characterized by an important and particularly topical theme: the safeguarding and protection of environment. This year too, in fact, it will give ample space to all the environmental issues that have attracted the attention of public opinion in recent years: from the climate emergency to pollution and waste disposal, via sustainable tourism, the climate, the ‘diet.
