The ancient Taormina and its coins

The exhibition arises from an idea of professors of the Universities of Messina and Calabria and will show not real coins but 15 educational panels.
Most part of the coins displayed dates back to the second half of the fourth and the third century before Christ that is the period in which Taormina was founded by Andromaco. An historical period rich of events and charactersed by the Chartaginian wars.
