An explosion of energy, rhythm, and fun: the Size 46 Street Band brings the irresistible power of jazz to the streets, turning Corso Umberto into an open-air stage.
Captivating brass sounds, infectious grooves, and a repertoire ranging from swing to funk and soul come together in a performance that wins over the audience from the very first riff!
The Size 46 Street Band is a popular, 7-piece Sicilian street band that blends New Orleans-style jazz with a lively village band atmosphere.
Founded in 1995, the group features four saxophones, a trumpet, a trombone, and percussion. Born from the Sicilian music scene—featuring talents like saxophonist Marcello Leanza—the Size 46 Street Band relies on mobility, performing directly among the crowd. Their repertoire is a colorful “sound kaleidoscope,” blending Dixieland and New Orleans Jazz, Italian Swing and Blues, Balkan, African and Southern Italian influences as well ass iconic covers (such as the Beatles) and classic film soundtracks.
